Project Management deals with monitoring the project using management principles. The project manager plans every activity in connection with site say procurement of material, site layout, requirement of labors, schedules of starting, finishing and sequencing of constructing activities.
Planning all project activities with respect to time, so that resources are used optimally. The project manager therefore uses tools like bar-chart, Critical Path Method (CPM) or Project Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) to plan all activities, their timings and sequences. His role in multicore projects is invaluable as far as economy of the project is concerned.
